Blue Paint All Over The Place

I was rushing to beat the deadline of Cody coming home since it’s supposed to rain for the next five days straight. I definitely needed to get the sink vent cap cleaned and painted then reinstalled. Well my time frame didn’t allow for the spray paint to fully dry in spots so there’s lots of blue paint all over on the roof. Oh well. It will be covered in Grey primer and then White top coat when I get to that stage.

I tried out my new corded multi tool with a scraper blade and I love it! As soon as I’m able to work more up there I’m using that tool set up instead of the heat gun and scraper. My multi tool I previously was using was battery operated and worked okay but there’s so much more power with this corded one. Sometimes you just need the extra power to get the job done!

I still have more edges to clear and the center fan/vent cover to remove and replace with the new fan/vent cover. I’m not sure how I’ll get the two end “attic” vent covers off or if I even want to try. But that’s all the vents I have left to remove and reinstall. I won’t redo the refrigerator vent cap since I installed that new several months back.

With predicted rain I’m not sure when I’ll get back to the roof but I plan to keep moving forward on it until it’s done.
