More Work

With all the rumbling we never even got a drop of rain but the humidity increased. I don’t mind so much working in humidity, I just don’t work in thunderstorms. So went back out after dinner and did two jobs.

I got out my power metal cutter and new cut resistant gloves. I have no desire to test their strength but I’m hoping they’ll do the job if there’s an emergency.

I cut the hole for the fresh water access door and hung it. The hole cutting portion was a little easier because I used my power metal cutter for parts of it. But it still wasn’t a piece of cake. As I cut into the corner section I encountered a screw that was drilled from the outside into the frame next to where the access door would be hanging. Talk about weird! I don’t know if I want to rehang the little sign. I’d have to drill two new holes and try to either fill or cover the old ones. I’m not using a pressure system so it doesn’t truly apply it would just be for decoration. So I may just fill the holes and not reinstall it.

Then I decided to try and cut out the hole for the electric outlet box. That box will have outlets for a round 30amp and 120v outlets just in case I want to plug something in outside while using shore power. The cool part was I only had to drill holes in the wall to hang it. The opening was already the perfect size. Of course once I actually wire it up I may need to adjust it but maybe not.

And now I’m truly done for today. Next thing is to figure out a door solution for the hot water heater area.
