Electric Access Door Is In Place

Wouldn’t you know it, just as I started to work on Grace’s electric access door it clouded up and sprinkled. At least it didn’t rain long and I got it done! Then I also drilled the holes and attached the antenna cover. I still need to cut the area for the water access panel and I hope to get that done sometime next week. And close up the electric plug somehow that is next to it. I did save that outlet, but it’s not getting reused so it would only be a place holder to block rain access.

Ignore the two large white blobs next to the access door. My jigsaw got away from me and bit the siding in two spots. So I’ve JBWelded the holes it left for now. I’ll determine how I want to deal with them later. 

My goal for next week though is to get some much needed fall house cleaning accomplished. So Grace may have to wait awhile but I do hope to make a big push and get her exterior closed up before September! I need to take down the garage before the middle of September but not before she’s closed up completely.
