Devoted Way Too Much Time To Other Projects

So the windows that were supposed to be in place by end of May are just about in place. They are being cleaned and reinstalled in their spots with putty tape and without repairs. We had another surprise thunderstorm last night and I found it had blown the temporary garage off its perch. I don’t want to be caught with leaks inside so I’ve shifted my focus to get her closed up to weather FIRST. Then I can go back and take more time to carefully make repairs and perfect the finishes. 

Today I spent more time installing the windows in their openings with putty tape and new screws. Unfortunately some holes still have broken screws deep inside so that will need to be dealt with later. And I need to replace the interior wood framing where it goes around the windows. But with this plan I’m not rushing to do 14 windows. I can do one window at a time as I’m able. A much better plan for me.

I need to get my doors back on too and that should be a fun prospect. Oh well. One thing at a time right.
