Grace In Her Prime

I finished brushing on the first coat of gray primer before lunch. Grace looks very plain but pretty. I had to put the doors back on the portable garage because they’re calling for rain most of tomorrow. Once I got the doors up I took a few minutes to remove the mess of propane tubing from her under belly. I’m really not looking forward to getting under there but I know I will have to do it to wire and plumb her. I will also need to repair her bellyskin before replacing it. I’m still trying to decide what my next move will be.

I need to do these things while she’s under the garage:
▪️ interior framing - replace all window & door wood framing
▪️ hang new backer plywood & cut openings for - access doors - back wall, electric/water
▪️ access doors - hang water, electric, outdoor plugs, tv antenna, hot water heater
▪️ windows - clean, repair, butyl tape and hang
▪️ doors - repair & hang - entry, storage, hot water heater
▪️ subfloor and chassis repairs

I need to do these things after she’s out from under the garage covering:
▪️ roof - remove vents, clean, repair, tape, and replace, then coat
▪️ hitch - rust removal & wiring
▪️ paint - exterior primer and top coats
▪️ plumbing and propane

Okay that’s enough listing out the things I need to do. It will start to stress me out if I look at the length of that list too long. For now I’ll just be happy she’s closer to being ready to camp inside.

Pictures from today.
